Joseph Silvaggio, a partner with Willman & Silvaggio was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 3, 1966.  He was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania in 1992, the Ohio bar in 2001 and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio bar in 2004.  Mr. Silvaggio has also been a Judicial Clerk for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Orphans Court Division. Attorney Silvaggio graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in 1987 and from Capital University with a J.D. in 1991.  He is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the International Law Society.  As part of his dedication to the community, Mr. Silvaggio has also participated in the Indigent Divorce Program, which was sponsored by the ACBA.

Mr. Silvaggio is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Ohio and American Bar Associations.

Attorney Silvaggio has an extensive expertise working with our Environmental Litigation, Toxic Torts, Hazardous Materials and Substances, Insurance Defense, Criminal Defense, Construction Law, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Transactions Practice. Mr. Silvaggio specializes in providing counsel and litigation expertise in matters of toxic tort, construction defect, real estate and insurance coverage. Mr. Silvaggio has published written seminar materials and has spoken at seminars involving mold claims and construction defects. Mr. Silvaggio also has been retained by the US Army Corps of Engineering to provide assistance with real estate transactions including the issuance of final title policies.
